Multifamily - Construction Begins on Apartments, Pickleball Venue Next to Columbus Crew's Lower.com Field
“In two years, some Crew fans won't have to travel far for a game. They can just walk across the street. Work is officially starting on long-promised apartments next door to the soccer team's home at Lower.com Field. The apartments are the latest phase of Astor Park, the 15-acre development around the stadium that includes a five-story office building and a 685-space parking garage.

“Downtown Columbus Inc. announced Tuesday the launch of its Safer Downtown Command Center, a 24-hour security operation that monitors footage from multiple cameras across downtown. The center operates out of the Lazarus Building, where security personnel will monitor camera feeds and a phone hotline from which downtown patrons can receive support for non-emergency concerns. The center currently displays feeds from 100 security cameras from private sector partners, including Nationwide, Huntington, Edwards Cos. and the State of Ohio.”

“The Central Ohio industrial market experienced a resurgence in the first quarter, with positive leasing activity leading to a decline in vacancy rates. Net absorption, the change in occupied square footage, was positive in Q1 after a steep drop at the end of 2024.”
