Intel has created excitement around the announcement with the label, Intel in Ohio: You Were Built For This. The landmark investment is outside the city of Columbus in New Albany, Ohio. Intel broke ground at its new location on September 9th with attendance from President Biden. The plan is projected to be finished by 2025.
Ohio is on the rise as Intel decided to invest more than $20 billion in construction for its new site. The company will build two new factories establishing a new epicenter for chipmaking. This venture will “boost production to meet the surging demand for advance semiconductors, powering a new generation of innovative products from Intel and serving the needs of foundry customers as a part of the company’s IDM 2.0 strategy.”
Colliers | Columbus recognizes the impact Intel coming to New Albany will have on the community, our clients and the economy of the greater Columbus area. If Chandler, AZ is any case study for Ohio, statistics show Intel's new development will be a large impact offering growth and transformation opportunities.
Colliers is dedicated to its clients and that includes providing information on changes in the heart of Ohio. This source has articles based on Intel information, a timeline of the project and a map with Colliers listings and new activity.
